Committed to breeding for all the right reasons
I am committed to breeding the best unrelated qualified pudelpointers to maximize the gene pool in North America. I won't breed a litter with a Coefficient of Inbreeding greater than 10%. Being a small breeder, I leave the line breeding to the experts. I am trying to offer the best out cross breeding possible. Breeding for proven hunting lines and good temperament.
Pudelpointers have gotten a lot of interest recently for those reasons. There are a lot of "backyard" breeders all over North America. I am a member of the North American Pudelpointer Alliance. Meaning I breed only qualified dams and breed only to qualified sires.
Meet the girls
Czarina vom Oberland (photo on the left) is my German import. I will run her in NAVHDA UT test next summer - expect a litter next fall (2018).
Foothills Autum Joce (photo on the right) is a great female has a UT Prize 3 at this time as a 16 month old pup. I will run her again next summer as well. Her next litter will also be 2018 - likely in the spring. Sire for her is pending - stay tuned for more information.
